| Everything's Clearer In The Next Day's Light |

As I sat at Hugh's Room in Toronto listening to one of my favorite singer/songwriters, Steve Forbert, sing a song from his last CD, I heard the words "Everything's clearer in the next day's light" and I thought to myself..."Steve, how true". It had been one of the most trying weeks in our 9-year history here at DANIMA and I realized that Steve had hit the nail on the head. In fact, I had just come from a very trying meeting in Toronto that day and was ready to "cry" on my friend's shoulder over a few glasses of Merlot. Well, as I've witnessed many times in the past, it does seem that when you are having a bad day that the problems of that day are insurmountable. Then you lay your head down on your pillow and if you are lucky enough to get some sleep, you wake up in the morning and things are much clearer. You're rested and you have a chance to think outside the emotion of the previous day. Indeed Steve, it's so true.
With a few major challenges over a 2 week span DANIMA needed a good night sleep to see everything a bit clearer. And that we did. "The next day's light" not only made things clearer...but it actually put things in perspective. Nothing is that bad. Nothing is insurmountable. Challenges are there to overcome and make you better and stronger...make your business better and stronger. And damn it...change is good! So, thanks Steve for stating the obvious...but that's what he does well (if you are a fan of the singer/songwriter genre you should pick up anything by Steve Forbert...you'll enjoy it).
Well, it's time to start putting the above into practice. Today DANIMA welcomes a new programmer and a new vision for the business that will undoubtedly provide our clients with better services and a better relationship with the DANIMA Team. |

Let me leave you with a few more lines from another song from that very CD that often rings true both here at the office and at home...cheers!
"And if you don't mind some rain
And the blood, sweat, and tears
What it is is a dream
For a lifetime of years"
