Holy cow, it's December already. And we all know what that means - only 24 shopping days left! Along with wrapping gifts, many of us will be wrapping up projects, tying up loose ends and getting our businesses ready for 2006. A new year. New beginnings. But first we must sweep up the last little bits of 2005. Looking back at what worked and what didn't. Re-evaluating our goals and our vision.
This time of year is also a time for old friends. Getting together with people you use to work with, friends you haven't seen in quite some time and visiting family that you haven't found the time to visit with due to your busy schedule.
I was lucky enough this week to do all of the above (the visiting part, not the wrapping up of projects..that's next). And I'm glad I finally made the time. There are some people that just make you feel good...and you need to make the time to get together with them, even it's just once a year.
So, while your busy putting 2005 to bed and getting ready for the new year...don't forget to take some time to stop by and see some of those people that you don't see as much as you should. Go out for a nice Yanks pizza and cold pint of Guiness...or just a simple Esspesso and some good conversation!
Well, back to work...my boss doesn't like when I take these long breaks. Special shout-out to Joey...nice to know somebody's reading.
