Whew...it's been a bit since I took the time to update ya'll (not sure where that came from) - it's been truly insane around here since Christmas. But, again, it's not a complaint...I'd much rather be busy.
So, what's up with the title. Hmmm, somehow I have to make sense of it, eh? Let's see...
We headed out to Guelph last night to see Mr. Steve Earle and the Dukes (amazing show, btw) and "The Revolution Starts Now" happens to be the title of his latest recording and of the tour. Anyone who is familiar with Steve Earle will understand where Steve is heading with a title like that - not exactly a George W. supporter! I have to say it was nice to hear someone with some common sense talk about the political landscape in the States and actually keep me interested. But hey, we don't talk politics around here, right?
You know what, I was going to try and tie this to some interesting angle that related to DANIMA or our business...but it would be a stretch! I can say that the Steve Ealre reference came from visiting steveearle.com and seeing that Steve's blog hadn't been updated since early December. So, I started thinking..."man, I better post something today...even if there is no DANIMA content of any interest. And this I've done! |

I will say before I stop typing that things around here are busy and really moving in a direction that we were hoping for quite some time ago. Thanks to some key changes and some great business advice the DANIMA Revolution (or evolution - see I managed to work the title in) started a while back and has allowed us to really focus in on what we do best - web solutions. We have just finished up 2 big multi-media projects and today we are going live with the Niagara Falls Hilton site. Three very big projects, in a very short time. All of which, we did a great job (if I do say so myself). We've got a great team here! As I look at my Project Board...it's pretty full...so, I best be on my way.
Thanks for reading. I promise, the next one will have some substance. Hmmm, that might be a lot to promise...but there are no concerts in the future, so hopefully it will at least be a bit more business oriented.
I'll be back at ya in a bit,
Dave (still a bit tired from the late night in Guelph) Rotella |
