Well, last night at 10:15 pm the DANIMA staff and a few close friends, with drinks in hand (Scotch for this guy) toasted to another successful event. And not only was it the conclusion of the second major multi-media event in 8 days, but it was the "light at the end of the tunnel" that was unnoticeable back in early November. 4 months of planning and programming, 7 day weeks and 10-16 hour days all ended with Doug Frazer saying "Good night and drive safely on your way home" - bringing to a close the 11th Annual Niagara Entrepreneur of the Year Awards Gala Event. Our job as the Audio/Visual team was complete and very successful, I might add!
I have to say thanks to an awesome team. Tim Glover for all his help creating the Flash Presentations, setting up, working the audio and making a few Tim Horton runs, the Stamford Students and their leader Jumanji for their great work on the cameras and for the countless hours of set up and rehearsal, and last but not least, thanks to Mr. Nick Svab, my friend, my partner and now the next great DJ to come out of DANIMA Technologies! Great work on the music for the show last night and for keeping this little guy from going into Cardiac Arrest during the show!
But I have to tell you that there's nothing like the feeling after a successful show when all the stress falls behind you and folks commend you and your team on a job well done. It makes all those long hours at the office seem worthwhile! |

Today, it's family day. After 3 nights of being away from my little guy...today is his day!! So, I figured while he was napping I'd check some email, type up a blog and then close this computer down for the day.
Time to catch up on the Letterman's I missed this week. Thank God for recordable DVD's!!
Back to relaxin',
