| The week that wasn't? |

If you are like us here at DANIMA, the first week of the New Year was a blur. It started Monday morning at 6:30 am and it hasn't stopped. A lot of work and not enough time in the day!
This week I learned a valuable lesson. DANIMA prides itself on quality work and providing quality service. However, sometimes you get so busy and so overwhelmed that important clients and important projects start to slide. Trust me, you try to multi-task, but there's only so many hours in the day. Not that I blame a client who is patiently waiting for the completion of a project to question the length of time that it may be taking to finish the job...hec, I'd get a bit frustrated too. But again, there are only so many tasks you can get to in a day and some things do have to wait. Being up front with clients is the key.
To assist in rectifying this problem, DANIMA has hired a Junior Programmer to work on some of the mounting projects. DANIMA would like to welcome Tim Glover to the team. Tim will be starting January 17th and will jump head first into a pool of projects.
Looks like there's light at the end of that tunnel, after all!
The lesson I learned? Don't make promises you can't keep. It's great to be busy, and sure, you don't want to turn down business...but you can only do so much in a day. Be realistic in how many projects you can work on at one time. The DANIMA Project board is not a very good example of that. |

Well, back to the Jets/Chargers game. They are in overtime. I'm pullin' for the Jets!!
