Welcome to 2005 everybody! So, did you make your New Year's resolutions yet? I definitely need to drop a few unwanted pounds after all of the eating and drinking, that's for sure.
Well, if you are like most businesses Monday will bring a new focus and, with all the vacation days accumulated over the last 2 weeks, it will probably be very busy. Take a few minutes, have a coffee, jot down your "to-do" list, open the mail and ease into it. You've got 12 months ahead of you. Don't try and do it all in one day. I say this because, though I haven't really had a day off during the holidays, deadlines are approaching, projects are mounting and I know I'll be heading into Monday morning with guns a blazin'. I need to take a bit of time to re-focus and get a handle on all of our projects...the ones that will be staring at me from the Project Board!!
Here's to a great 2005. As I said in my last rant, it will be hard to top 2004 with the birth of my buddy Evan, the Red Sox victory and the growth of DANIMA...but ya just never know. |
