| Where did February go? |

Wow...I guess it's great to be busy, but where did February go? I keep meaning to sit down and catch everyone up on the latest DANIMA projects...but time keeps flying by!
So, yes we are extremely busy and in the process of hiring again. That'll bring us up to 11 people! 9 in-house and 2 working in remote locations. And to think only 3 years ago it was me, Leigh-Ann and Aqeel :) It's an exciting time as we move through a new growth phase. Anyone who owns a business will tell you that these growth phases are usually the most trying of times. From cash flow to project deadlines and workload...it's a balancing act. One that I'm actually learning to understand.
Over the past month a lot of projects have come our way including a great new project with the Royal Canadian Henley Regatta. We are looking forward to working with Bryan and their group. As well, a new project with Group Quest is about to start and this project will likely occupy most of 2009. We are also on the brink of what could become our biggest project in 11 years and hopefully take us to that next level in our business. Here's hoping.
We are looking forward to getting some great sites completed this week - Toronto Fire Combat Team, SuperSaver Coupons, Collier Technologies, Simply Delicious, Rankin Cancer Run and Heart of Niagara's new web site. We continue to work on the Student Guard Insurance system which has been on-going for 3 years now and, of course, working closely on new projects with our friends at the Hilton. Last month, we finally launched the new Business Link Niagara web site and just recently completed another very successful Niagara Entrepreneur of the Year Awards multi-media presentation - probably our best ever!
It's been busy...very busy and in this economy we are grateful for that. You can never be sure when the other shoe is going to fall and we count our blessings here every day. We have a great team and a great group of clients who we enjoy working closely with to help drive their on-line presence.
Well...back to work. Better stop procrastinating and get this presentation done.
Talk to you in a bit... |
